Nelson Tobin
President
Nelson was introduced to the eye industry
in 1983. He began his career selling contact lenses
for Revlon. After spending nearly 7 years selling diagnostic
and surgical equipment for Humphrey, he conceived a
need for pre-owned, refurbished eye equipment. This
idea developed into a plan. In 1993, Nelson commenced
Diagnostic Instrument Group.

Roger Sill
Sales Manager
Now completing his eighth year at
DIG, Roger is the company’s veteran. After completing
his undergraduate work in Tampa 25 years ago, he moved
to Gainesville to pursue work in ophthalmologic care.
He is extremely proficient with office and equipment
needs.

DJ Brown
Sales Manager
In 1999, DJ began working for DIG
in service department. Since that time, DJ has moved
into sales and is a vital part of the DIG sales team.
His extensive knowledge, particularly in pretest and
lanes, helps to make a customer’s buying experience
hassle-free. He currently works furnishing new and existing
practices.

Lauren Tobin
Chief Operating Officer
In 1989, Lauren entered the eye industry
as the surgical representative for Allergan Medical
Optics where she covered the state of Connecticut. After
six years with AMO she was promoted to Senior Sales
Manager and relocated to Florida. She joined DIG in
2001, and currently oversees the operation and financial
components of all departments.
